Fortnite’s Chapter 2 Remix event will soon be coming to an end and it comes with a tribute to the late rapper Juice WRLD.
Juice WRLD, whose real name was Jarad Anthony Higgins, died in 2019 but his blend of multiple music genres with hip-hop has continued even five years after his death with multiple posthumous music releases. Fortnite’s Chapter 2 remix continues to keep his music alive with a celebration of Juice WRLD’s life and his past connection to Fortnite as the month-long remix comes to an end on Nov. 30.
“Chapter 2 Remix is ending on a special note — catch the Remix: The Finale live event on November 30 at 2 PM ET! To honor Juice’s legacy and love for Fortnite,” read a release from Fortnite.
Carmela Wallace, Higgins’s mother, was involved in the collaboration and released a statement about what the game meant to her son and what it means.
“Jarad always loved to play Fortnite – it was more than just entertainment for him, it was a way to connect with others. From a young age, video games were a part of how he bonded with friends and family, and being in Fortnite is an incredible tribute to that connection. I know he would be overjoyed to see how his love for games continues to bring people together across different spaces, just like his music does.”

When is the Fortnite Juice WRLD event?
Players will get a chance to see Juice WRLD once again even if it is just in a virtual world.
Fortnite programmers have come up with a digital avatar that resembles the rapper that will headline an event expected to close out Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix dubbed The Finale on Nov. 30 starting at 2 p.m. ET/1 p.m. CT. The in-game concert will feature artists seen throughout the event and include a new single from Snoop Dogg, “Another Part Of Me (feat. Sting)”, along with the exclusive world premiere of an all-new Juice WRLD track, “Empty Out Your Pockets.”
Players can keep an eye on the WRLD Point Landmark which will begin to blossom on the map through out the week starting on Monday, Nov. 25.
When does the Slayer Juice WRLD outfit come out in Fortnite?
Players will be able to earn a special Slayer Juice WRLD outfit starting on Monday, Nov. 25 at 9 a.m. ET/8 a.m. CT until the Chapter 2 remix ends on Nov. 30

Tennessee gamers will see the end of Chapter 2 Remix on Saturday, Nov. 30 at 10 p.m. ET/9 p.m. CT.
What other rappers were featured in Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix?
Chapter 2 Remix has been full of singers taking part in this throwback event. The real OG Snoop Dogg started the gameplay off in week 1 heading up the Agency, Eminem set up shop in the Grotto and one of the newest faces in hip hop, Ice Spice, laid claim to Shark Island in this throwback.
How, when did Juice WRLD die?
The Chicago rapper died in 2019 after suffering a medical emergency at Chicago Midway International Airport on days after his 21st birthday on Dec. 8, 2019. Autopsy and toxicology results show that Higgins’ death was the result of “oxycodone and codeine toxicity,” according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.
His death was ruled accidental, according to the autopsy report.
When does Fortnite OG return?
